Frank Zhao received his undergraduate B.Sc. at the University of Toronto in the Mathematics and Physics Specialist program, where Prof. Ken Burch introduced him to condensed matter physics. He then went to Columbia University to study with Prof. Philip Kim. After moving to Harvard University with Philip, Frank designed and built a glovebox system with most of the functionality of a nanofabrication cleanroom. He did postdoctoral research with Prof. Joe Checkelsky at MIT, where he learned how to synthesize and measure the structure and electronic properties of single crystals.
We are just starting to build our team. We are looking for passionate, persistent and kind scientists to join us.
